Early 1990s Thierry Mugler Activ label cream linen/silk blend jacket with original belt. This is a classic example of this flamboyant designer's daywear with superb design details, soft to the touch fabric and detailed construction. This collarless jacket features a deep v-neck, angled pockets which accentuate the bust and hips and is finished with a wide belt. The belt features Mugler's signature buckle in chrome also seen in the unusual pyramid shaped buttons on the front as well as on the sleeves. The belt loops are inverted triangles.

This iconic piece is labelled a French size 44. This equates in modern sizing to a US 10 or UK 14 but can easily be worn oversized as the jacket is not stiffened. In excellent vintage condition. The chrome finish on the buckle and buttons is in very good condition with very very minor scratching and tiny plate loss. There are one or two very very small pin sized marks on the fabric. It comes with its original shoulder pads which could be removed if desired.
